About Me

Morgan Bryant
I was born and raised on the east side of Cincinnati, Ohio.  I have lived on the outskirts of this amazing city my entire life, making multiple lasting memories with my family, friends, and the landmarks of this area.  I went to Amelia Elementary, Middle, and High School graduating in 2015.  Over the years I have been actively involved in theater, marching band, and yearbook programs.  Flourishing in communication, dedication, and leadership I have chosen to teach as my profession.  I am a graduate of Northern Kentucky University's Secondary English Education Program and am currently teaching English II & III at Blanchester High School in Ohio.

Through college, I worked as a certified barista, barista trainer, and Coffee Master at Starbucks Coffee in Cincinnati.  I can make a mean cup of coffee and have been known to sing (quite well I’ve been told) while doing so!

I chose to study teaching because I want kids to know that they can do anything they set their minds to.  I want to be a resource for students, not only in their common core subjects but as a reminder of how utilizing their education according to their desires can impact their entire life and continuous future generations.  "Long to Learn" came about as a project for one of my classes (please note the intended pun with my old last name).  I long to continue learning no matter where I find myself.  I started this blog not only as a class requirement in my studies but because of the numerous benefits of a teacher's blog.  Blogging can reach parents, schools, other teachers (both employed and aspiring), and the community!  A blog can serve as an excellent resource to see what we are learning in my classroom.  Although I'm not officially a teacher yet, I'm already making an impact in my profession.  So I thought why not start my blog now? In teaching, furthering your own education is a requirement for a student’s success!  I teach because I know I can help someone.  Assisting a student find their passion is a true joy!
